Virtual Class Learn© Regulations

  1. The individual Virtual ClassLearn© classroom solution includes a dedicated teacher and a course structured according to the user's needs. Depending on the solution purchased, the duration of the course will be:
    • Quick Solution: 5 individual hours with the same teacher, with a frequency to be established (minimum 1 hour), to be carried out consecutively within 2 months of the first lesson.
    • Gold Solution: 20 individual hours with the same teacher, with a frequency to be established (minimum 1 hour) with digital teaching material support + 20 hours of online course integrated with the teaching material (in practice, the same book and the same online course), to be taken consecutively within 8 months of the first lesson.
  2. The planning of the individual lessons will therefore be carried out by combining the user's needs in terms of days and time slots with the availability of our teaching staff.
    The user must therefore choose the options he/she is interested in from those proposed, inserting at least 3 weekly options in terms of days (Monday to Saturday) and within the 3 options at least one option (but preferably more than one) in terms of time windows proposed from those available:
    • Monday to Friday 8-10am / 10am-1pm / 1pm-3pm / 3pm-6pm / 6pm-9pm
    • Saturday 8-10am / 10-12am
  3. The start of the course may not take place before 10 working days from the date of the request provided that the user has already taken the initial test.
    Once the purchase has been made on the portal, the user has 12 months to register and once he/she has registered and agreed in writing on the frequency (which cannot be changed, except in cases of force majeure), the course period begins: one month for the Quick solution, two months for the Silver solution, three months for the Gold solution.
  4. In the event of a need for intensive use (i.e. more than one hour per week) British School Global reserves the right to use more than one teacher and course requests for more than one hour per week (consecutive or more than one hour sessions within a week) must be specified by the user in writing at the time of course organisation via email to info@britishschool-italia.it.
  5. The user, in order to participate in the lessons in the virtual classroom, must be equipped with a good internet connection, PC, video camera, headphones and microphone and not have audio/video blocks in the settings (e.g. due to Firewall): it is not the responsibility of our Company if the user is unable to use the course for technical reasons.
  6. CANCELATIONS:
    • If you are unable to attend a lesson you must notify British School no later than 10.30am on the working day prior to the lesson by writing to cancellazioni@britishschool-italia.it (working week means Monday to Friday).
      If the notification is within the timeframe allowed the lesson can be made up, otherwise the scheduled hours will be counted as completed.
    • Virtual ClassLearn© Silver - 10 INDIVIDUAL HOURS - 2 cancellations with right to make-up allowed
    • Virtual ClassLearn© Gold - 20 INDIVIDUAL HOURS - 4 cancellations with right to make-up allowed
    Virtual ClassLearn© Platinum - 30 INDIVIDUAL HOURS - 4 cancellations with right to make-up allowed.
  7. At the end of the course, following the students' request for the Final Test, a Level Certificate will be issued showing the Cambridge CEFR COE© level obtained on completion of the lessons.
    The Certification according to the CEFR COE Standard is not a certification exam, as it takes place in front of an internationally recognised Commission and has a legal value in Public Administration bodies; British School Global also offers Certification solutions that can be done remotely through International Bodies accredited by the Ministry of Education and Merit (MIUR) but these solutions must be requested separately and have a specific value.
  8. It is possible to give the course as a gift: in this case the beneficiary will have to register with their email and personal details at the time of course activation.
